Trident sells a tool for doing just that.  Or, you could go to your =
local harware store and make one.  Just fine the female threaded fitting =
that fits your hose, put it on a 5-6 inch long pipe the same size as the =
fitting and weld a T handle on it!  Slide your hose protector on the =
pipe, then screw the hose on the pipe and pull.

What's the easiest way to get a hose protector onto your hoses? =20

I've sweated and cussed and am sure that all the bending and pressure =
that I'm applying to the hose to get the protectors on, is more abuse =
than the hose would be subjected to than if I simply didn't install the =
dang things! Somebody got a secret?
