We use a modified regulator from the helium cylinder to the compressor intake hose. The Oxygen Hackers Companion suggests using a tape sealed plastic bag between the cylinder and the compressor. BTW. The compressor also keeps cooler than when filling air. Argon can be compressed, too, but then you must take care not to overheat your compressor (thus damaging it).
