One, any equipment discussion concerning ANY diving done by the WKPP as a "sponsored" dive is not what I discus for many reasons however two of them are 1. I'm not a member nor do I dive with them 2. In the type of diving they are doing on their dives there can be No differences in their equipment, configuration, etc. This is rather standard procedure for any extreme activity, especially with their safety record. Now as far as the rest of us "recreational" divers. Unless we are discussing some particular aspect of diving, I think that there is a great deal of "personal preference" or a gray area if you will. I amazed at the number of people who only quarry dive or dive in the Caribbean. There are many people I can't even get to think about diving in the Northeast (to cold, to little visibility, no pretty fish) should they all dive back plates, wings, wet suits, no gloves, aluminum tanks, no ponies, no up lines, no way. There are many items I think should not ever get wet and a few have actually caused severe problems such as bondage wings. But if this issue was a simple or as black and white as many posts indicate, how are all these other companies succeeding and why aren't we all driving Mercedes diesels? -----Original Message----- From: John R.
