>My question is this: what to do if you are diving wet (I live in Asia=20 >and diving dry is somehwhat impractical when gearing up on an open boat=20 >when its 35 degrees!). Any thoughts? Actually I dive in Cura=E7ao, the Dutch Caribbean with my DUI TLS now when I= use steel cylinders. As soon as I put on the suit I take a shower on the= boat before getting in the rest of my equipment. This way you stay cool on= the surface. When I dive from shore, I first take a quick dip before= gearing up. If you use a wetsuit, dive aluminium. You can use a CC liftbag as backup= buoyancy, works great! Just attach it to your liftbag to your right= shoulder d-ring and make sure you can reach the dump valve :-) The Halcyon CC liftbag works great for this purpose.
