Hello, Not sure how many people have seen this update since the main W2 page no longer links to the daily updates. http://wakulla2.org/Updates-Feb/feb18.htm Here is the summary from that page: For Immediate Release Wakulla 2 Expedition Statement by Dr. Bill Stone February 18, 1999 New information has been made available from the State Medical Examiner's office, to the dive team, and the people immediately on the scene of Dr. Kendall's death, which has caused them to re-evaluate their findings. This new information leaves no doubt that he died from natural causes and that his unfortunate and untimely death bore no relationship to either the pre-dive procedures that he followed that day or the dive equipment he used. The Wakulla 2 Expedition is extremely embarrased and regrets to have rushed to judgement in our attempt to help determine the cause of death, for which we have apologized to the parties concerned. We hope this will put to rest any speculation as to the circumstances surrounding Dr. Kendall's death. The death of Dr. Kendall is a major loss to the scientific community and the world. He will always be remembered as a great contributor to causes for the betterment of our environment. He will be deeply missed by all members of the expedition. _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
