Hello, I'm a new subscriber. I dive with Nitrox in the Great Lakes with hopes
of eventually getting to the Florida and Mexico Cave systems. This year was my
first year as a tech diver. I picked up a DUI CF200 Drysuit used a couple of
years ago. It was in good shape. Now I need new seals along with a overhaul
of the inflator and deflator

The reason I'm saying this is because I firmly believe in being self-reliant,
which means knowing everything about your equipment you can. I'd like to be
able to fix the suit myself. I know that I might have trouble putting double-
blind stiching in, but I'm game to try. Does anyone know where I can get seals
and other service parts? I have an instructional video from DUI on repairs.
Is this something that I should attempt, or pay the big bucks and send it in to
DUI? Can you make latex seals for a drysuit from medical supplies, etc.? n

One other thing. I've got a 72 and a line on several others cheap. I've been
told by a Technical Dive Store Owner that he's gotten them hydroed to specs so
that they would be given a + stamp for the overfill. He's not willing to tell
who did it and he says that its REAL difficult for him to get it done--i.e. he
won't even try to do it for me. Is he pulling my chain?--Diving Dave
