Tony

I use US4s which are rigged in the same way as a DS4. Basically they are
easy to rig, the only slight problem being the left post and routing of the
HP hose. I presume you have seen the Hogarthian rigging web pages and are
interested only in the Apex specifics. This is from memory..

Starting with the right post (with the cylinders on your back, the post that
you would open/close with your right hand). Position the first stage
horizontally with the three ports (2 LP, one HP) uppermost and the two LP
ports down. Use the lower LP port closest to the post i.e. bottom rearmost
LP port for the 7' long hose. The bottom port next to it is used for the
wing inflate. This hose is routed behind your neck, across and over the
left shoulder to the power inflator. The upper three ports are not used.

Next, the left post. Position the first stage horizontally but in the
opposite orientation i.e. with the two LP ports uppermost and the three
ports (2 LP, one HP) lowermost. One of the three ports is the HP hose, so
attach this. The LP port closest to the left post i.e. bottom rearmost LP
port takes the backup regulator which is routed behind the neck to feed over
the right shoulder. There is now a spare LP port lowermost. If you do not
use a separate argon cylinder then this is used to feed the dry suit with
the hose going over the wing and under the harness and your left arm. The
upper two ports are not used.

No swivels or elbows are required. I mentioned that there was a slight
problem with the HP hose routing - this should go over the wing and be
clipped to the left hip D-ring. The wing being tucked under the HP hose
near where the hose is connected to the first stage. The issue here is that
the angle that the HP exits the first stage is a bit too vertical and it
takes some jiggling to get the wing under the hose. You will find that if
you position this first stage *slightly* off the horizontal, the hose goes
over the wing more easily.

Enjoy your diving with these regulators - they are excellent performers and
reliable.

Subject:	DS4 Reg in a Hog way?

Folks;
Is there a website with pictures on how to rig a Zeagle DS4 regs in a
hogarthian way? or, can anyone tell me how without pictures?
It is not apparent to me and I'm sure there is a way.
Thanks in advance for your help and consideration.
