An instructor who doesn't care turns out a student
who doesn't know. What did the student do? And more
importantly, who's the so-clled tech guru?

It's a prety screwed industry when so many retailers
stay afloat on distributors' extended credit. Must be
a few more like that in Brisbane, too, especially with
its poor record for diveshops - what is it? 25 gone
bust since 1990?

They never did much in Brisbane so I can understand
where you're coming from with that observation. Plus the
sour grapes 'cause they're succesful and you're a TDI
and IANTD facility. But tech diving in general has been
quiet everywhere. Barry's doing some stuff down here but
nothing much elsewhere. Fewer boats running fewer
technical dives out of Sydney too. But do I hear the
rumblings of a second wave?

All in his mind, unfortunately. But don't tell me you been
away THAT long. I see your web site says that you're the
only dive shop in Brisbane "Doing It Right" But it also
says you're teaching deep air. To 64 metres. And running
deep air dives from 45 to 64 metres. Isn't 'Doing it Wrong'
closer to the truth?

See ya Paul.
