The transpac is much more convoluted, having unnecessary hardware such
as extra D-rings.  It has more failure points in the way of quick
release buckles.  Its drag is much more than a standard wing.  A DIR
config will hold the tanks more securely (less lateral movement and
less twisting) than a transpac.  The transpac costs more.
