I've pretty much had the same experience as Ingemar. My Sig Other, Maggie,
aquired quite a few holes wreck diving with her TLS last year; but, damn, those
suits are so nice, light and comfortable. I really think they swin faster than
my CF, as well. And they're almost always dry in under an hour (except for the
CF material bootie part).

On the other hand, my CF200 takes forever to dry and is pretty heavy, but I've
got 300+ dives on it and I've yet to get a puncture in it. And I spend alot of
time wrenching lobsters out from underneath rusted hull plates (well,
attempting to wrench 'em out...).

As far as inherent bouyancy in CF suits, I've really never experienced any
noticeable difference between 'em and the TLS suits, but I haven't dove the
TLS' very much. In any case, I don't need any lead in salt water with my
CF,Hog rigged SS backplate, 65Lb wings, dbl PST95's, cannister light, 400G
Thinsulate jumpsuit and expedition weight poly pro underlayer, even at 400 psi
on a hang.

Maggie just ordered a custom CF for wrecks up here, and as soon as I can afford
one, I'm going to order a custom TLS for a teaching in and using in situations
where I won't be spending time kneeling on rusty metal. The shop I work at
sells a couple of other brands of trilaminates (or used too). While the
material looks nice and tough, the fit leaves a lot to be desired. I've NEVER
seen a suit fit -nearly- as good as a custom, self-donning DUI suit.
