Gordy Koetje skrev 01:04 22-01-99 noget som godt kunne ligne ... The reason I don't go out and buy the cf is I'm worried about it drying and being heavy to pack around. I have a CF. I love it. I respect the recommendations of the WKPP (who will tell you to get the TLS) but where I dive I need all the extra warmth I can get and the CF _is_ warmer (it is thicker). You are right on both counts. It _is_ heavy but it's not like that is a major problem. Also dries very slowly, and that can sometimes be annoying. I've also heard things about it getting negative at depth but does it really get that negative?...Has anyone ever tried to figure how negative? I have never noticed any change in buoyancy though there might be a small one. The zipper isn't as heavy duty You're correct. My experience is that the DUI zippers don't last as long as some others but you really need a not-so-heavy-duty zipper as it goes over the chest and a more heavy-duty type would make your torso quite inflexible.
