Janet, people can practise all the above while diving a single tank without the pony. If they want to go to the next level, they should clip a pony bottle off on the front on the left side. That way they're less likely to kid themselves that they're wearing doubles. If they want to practise for wearing manifolded doubles, they should wear manifolded doubles. >You seem to think i have a vested intrest in selling pony bottles .....nope >......i am really only interested in less stressfull dive days for me and the >crew....hysterical screaming , water gulping , then puking , sobbing , >praying ..divers tend to disturb everyones peace and tranquility on the boat >and make it not fun I agree. So: 1. Single cylinder only dives to be within easy reach of surface. 2. For slightly deeper dives, clip a pony bottle off ON FRONT. 3. Overhead or decompression dives require doubles. Easy innit? rgrds billyw -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'. Send subscribe/unsubscribe requests to `techdiver-request@aquanaut.com'.
