One more time we hav a completely bogus dive profile reported by usdct. Again it is taking thes guys two or three times the required time to get from point to point, like 18 minutes to get to the bottom, and now they have introduced just plain false depth and "deco" profiles. The only explanation for this dive ( OTHER THAN BLATENT FALSIFICATION) is that they were swimming and only using their hands, that they got to the Monolith Room and ran around in circles for 30 minutes , left and went the wrong way dropping down the back side of the room where it is deeper , realized it, and then went back up to 200 feet at the top of the room, and then went out, blowing off all deco up to 150 feet as if something terrible went wrong. I don't get it. I have done more of thes dives than the combined diving of this phoney "project" will ever do, and none of this looks right to me, and when I have a 2 hour bottom time, it is because I travelled 9 or 10 thousand feet into the cave and was laying and surveying, not going 1200 feet. Why are these guys lying so heavily? Who are they kidding? Where are they getting 1100 meters from the far side of the basin to what we call 2200 feet into the cave? I know that cave inside out - 1100 meters has a far differnt bottom profile than what their maps show - far far different, and the ceiling ( which they problably can not see due to the sinking tannic) is far different. Why are weenie dives celebrated so gloriously by these strokes? Why do they think that what we do on a stage without tougching back gas is some major achievement for that ridiculous rattlesnake of a reabreathner and why are they so proud of spending a million dollars and a fortune on scooters, chambers, bells, rebreathers, trucks , hoists , contraptions and compressors, and other gear if they can not do what we can do anywhere on a fraction of that money equiping an entire team of divers? I don't get the point of this. If I was this bad I would have quit diving and be too ashamed to ever talk about it. -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
