I need to replace one of my regulators (both first and second stages) before March, as it violates just about all the guidelines for a good regulator It's a Sherwood Maximus, so it has a dry air bleed on the 1st stage, and the 2nd stage can't be taken apart. Also, it breathes hard. I'm looking for a recommendation of what regulator I should get, and why. I'm currently using an Oceanic Delta II on my deco bottle, and I'm quite happy with it, but I've never used it deeper than 30 feet, so I am not sure how it *really* breathes. The Oceanic is very inexpensive, which is a plus, but obviously price is not my primary consideration. Any thoughts on whether this would make a good primary as well, and why? Thanks in advance.
