While it is true that the Zebras have covered some wrecks entirely, many others remain unscathed. Speaking only for Lake Ontario, we have had a tremendous increase in visibility in the last six or seven years. Diving has a great potential as a tourist industry as is practiced in Tobermory, Canada. This will not come to pass if shipwrecks are looted as in the past. You saltwater folks have some valid arguements for artifact collecting and I do not wish to start a war here, but hopefully, in the Great Lakes at least, any remaining "goodies" can be left in place for all to enjoy.... Someone questioned on this list where would we see plates and silverware left in place. Answer: Many places in the St. Lawrence River........ Merry Christmas to all out there......
