Because using a multi-nitrox computer suggests that you are deep air diving... But the fact is if you tend to do long bottom times at moderate depths you can go into serious deco and using multiple mixes is a reasonable way to get out of the water much sooner. Even though I use the Nitek3 I still run tables on Decom and have a separate bottom timer in case the computer go's tits-up.
