I guess some people lead rather sheltered lives. This is the Mares DiveMate, and I've been using one for 6 years now. Made by the Finnish company BENEMEC. I don't think Mares sells it any more, but Orca has picked up the line, and added a Nitrox version. I guess Wal_mart picked up some old stock. This is the only piece of equipment I have used consistently for 6 years, and it's never failed, never been serviced. An oddity for dive computers. Not very common, to be sure. Fantastic to have with you when your hands are full of camera gear. Plus, she has a sweet voice.
