The highlight occurred on the Haight when several of us were approached = by a juvenile humpback whale (apx 16') which circled us four to five times, intently studying us. He then surfaced and sounded again taking one = more loop of us before swimming off towards open water. Not bad for New England. These same divers enjoyed diving again on Sunday at halfway rock (110' - = 60 odd min) and paddock rock (20 - 90' - 45 -65 min) where nudibranchs were numerous, anemones were colorful and plentiful, and the coral gardens = were a magnificent orange. No whales though. Water temp apx 45 - 43 degrees.
