I'm trying to find out who makes the steel cylinders marketed in Australia by Sea Hornet as Super Steels. They come in an 85 and 120 cu ft capacity, fill to 24Mpa and are stamped ASAHI, which I presume is a manufacturer's mark. The local importer has been of no use to me in tracking this down. I believe these cylinders are imported into the US and used there. Any help greatly appreciated. There is a local debate here on Nitrox compatibility of cylinders and valves. The only local manufacturer (CIG who make aluminium cylinders) has said their tanks are incompatible with mixes other than air. Local distributors of imported cylinders look set to hop on this bandwagon. Responses to this are probably of little interest to this group, so please email me directly.
