First I'd like to say that I'm trying to be DIR though I do not claim to be any sort of expert but hopefully I'm on the right track. I have used an SMB (20 kg. lift capacity) with integral cylinder for some time. I am NOT talking about a small CO2 discharge but the type with the 0,4L aluminium cylinder you fill before each dive. I have found it rather good as you don't have to switch regs and use the long hose for inflating your SMB and it reassures me that you always have gas for your deco buoy. Of course I carry a 'normal' SMB for backup. Hope this helps... I can find the web address for one manufacturer if you want.
