Vinny - long hose is for overhead environments - you do not need it if you are not overhead. It works perfectly for anything , however, if you have it held down by a light or knife. Extra weight must be ditchable, not necessarily quickly. I put my weightbelt on under my harness so that it will not fall off if it comes unbuckled . By the way, the long hose is not "wrapped" around the neck, it is just laying there. I hate to say this as it may come off the wrong way, but you will eventrualy find out why the whole DIR system is the way it is. vpg wrote: > > Hi, > > Over the last few weeks Ive asked a few questions and generally argued a few > points on the tech list.
