Did I read this correctly? This guy is an "instructor"? I guess I answered
part of my own question. How can people this obviously stupid and impressed
with stupidity be dive instructors?

Ken, can you tell me where I can go for a comprehensive run down of
techniqes, info, etc. that does not have one of these "instructors"?

No offense intended but if you're banging the ceiling of a cave so
damn hard that you're worried about your regulators then you need to
quit cave diving. Cages don't protect regulators, they just damage
caves. Proper technique and awareness is what will protect your
regulators.
