When the numbers do not change, what does this tell you? Okay, we'll use your logic. Assume what you are saying is fact. Then if you are drifting under a unanchored lift bag in the waves your depth gauge would be going up and down. Right? If you are seeing flying sheep, you have been diving to deep for to long and have developed brain legions. Seek Help!! Also in regard to deco mix, IT JUST DON'T MATTER. The only reason that we are using 100% or EANx is to accelerate the deco process. I have done many required stop dives using only 21% and I have done many dives with 100% deco gas at 15 feet. The only difference is you exit the water sooner. Now if your going to tell me that the sooner you get out of the water the safer the dive, maybe it would be safer for you not to do the dive at all.
