Subject: CORRECT BOTTLE ID'S
I am geting really tired of you. The girl had two 80's, one with 80%,
one with 30 something %. One on the left, one on the right. NO MARKINGS
WHAT SO EVER ON THE TANKS ( the dive shop said they had had a piece of
masking tape with the analysis - her back tanks had such a tape, but it
was days old and for a diffrent dive). The SOP for your bullshit IANTD
is to have the high ox on the right, low on the left - FARM ANIMAL
STUPID. The other assinine method you guys use is to have different
regs, poodle jackets on the regs, mark the regs, color code, etc. THAT
ONLY GIVES YOU MORE CHANCES TO SCREW UP. Ornstein breathed her 80% from
130 on up, and toxed.

Now I am going to tell you my method one last time, so listen up. The
bottle has the MOD on it horizontally in the orientation of the bottle
on either side. That is the only id, other than my name on the bottle.
Regs make no difference. The reg is parked, the bottle is off. When you
go to use the bottle, you look for the one you want, identify it, you
take the reg from it, you put it around your neck, and then you go back
to the botle you want to breath based on the MOD, identify it, and turn
it on. IF YOU CAN BREATH, YOU ARE BREATHING THE RIGHT GAS. There is no
better , safer, more certain method.

When you mixed this gas, the bottle was emptied, it was checked for MOD
marking, and then two pieces of tape were applied. You added your first
gas, and with the whip still attached you wrote the date, and the psi of
that gas. Your then added your second gas ( if there was a second gas),
and with the whip still attached you wrote that psi .( You analyzed that
gas if you deemed it important, I do not care what helium I have other
than for narcosis puroposes . ) You then added your air. Then, you
analyzed that tank, wrote the analysis on the other piece of tape and
the date, and put the first piece of tape over the mouth of the tank to
indicate it was full. This tape can be removed prior to diving so as not
to litter, and then a new one put back on if the tank is not used.

All tanks must be transported ( including back tanks) with the analysis
and date, or treated as empties and not used without either analyzing
them again or dumping them.

Bottles are on the left side in keeping with our whole DIR gear system,
and to reduce drag from current. Small aluminum bottles should be used
in the ocean, and in that case they can be both on the left hip and left
side normal placement.

John, I run the most successful project ever in diving with a perfect
track record. On the other hand, tech diving instruction has the worst
track record of anything I have ever seen other than Vietnam helicopter
pilots, only you dumb asses are shooting at yourselves, and you have a
dyslexic moron running the show on one side, and a ridiculous deep air
diving fat slob on the other - neither knows jack in my opinion, and
both have the track record to prove it.
