The System ANX installed was at Toucan Diving at Plaza Resort in Bonaire -- I had the first group there to test drive this momma. In fact if they had not installed the system we were not bringing out group there. I had 60 divers there in May using upwards of 120 80 cube tanks a day of EAN 32. Once we worked out some little kinks -- like only one whip which becasue of the air flow rate was making the tanks a tad hot -- I plumped in three whips (good thing I brought my extras -- since you cant get squat on this island) we were jamming. granted the tall, blonde, well trained gal Esther was filling for 8 hours a day. But this system was perfect for them. There are some problems however with the training that the facility got. They were certified as gas blenders but only in using this system. I had to spend a few hours showing them how to mix without their computerizes system just in case it went down and they had business to continue to conduct. But they are buffed up now and can fill with just a hose. Although the ANX system worked well with just cascading the oxygen -- a haskel booster would have been really nice to scavange more O2 -- we ended up wasting some, and on an island where its expensive every cube counts. Some items you may want to add to the unit -- in line analyser port with regulator to get more accurate tank readings, and the blow off vent (yeah the puter tells you what to blow off if topping up a tank) with a pipe to the top of the building -- keeps it quieter and more whips the more whips the better --- they could also use standard JIC fittings for the whips instead of the swagelock compression fittings. Having used it to produce over 58,000 cubic feet of gas in one week -- I would say its a well proven machine. It took me about 5 minutes to learn how to use it -- And no they didnt pay me to write this ---- Joel Silverstein At 08:12 AM 11/10/1998 -0800, S I L E N T I M M E R S I O N wrote: >This is far from stroke gear... >It's a lean, clean, blending machine!
