Ken, I asnwered you then, and I'll give you the same answer now. Bill *tried* to work cooperatively with WKPP - over and over again - even while George was going nuts on the lists with bullshit politic rhetoric. I know because I was the mediator between Bill and George. There is a LOT of stuff that was going on behind the scenes that most of the list junkies were totally unaware of. The bottom line is, through his arrogance and ego, George basically eliminated this possibility. > May I remind you that it was King and Stone who said they wanted to > "triple the 6,000-foot penetration accomplished by the Woodville > Karst Plain Project" (Wakulla Too article, Aquacorps magazine). Actually, it was just Jim King, and they may well triple the 6,000-foot penetration mark. The point Tom and everyone else has tried to make clear is, that is **NOT** the goal of the project. > Stone is the one who threw out the first set of insults when he was > quoted as saying, "And you can play what I term open-circuit heroics > and eke out another 15 or 20 percent". Of course, "Open-Circuit > heroics" pushed Wakulla out to 10,000'... Bullshit Ken. "first set of insults"? Get REAL!!! George was acting like a twelve-year-old in public for eons before Bill said anything of the kind. To be honest with you, I thought it was an overly passive response to the outright LIES that George and a few others were posting on the internet. > As I've said before, and now I'll ask you this Tom, if indeed the > goal is to produce a good quality map why don't they have the guys > who are already familiar with the cave take the mapper? "As I've said before" Ken, that is exactly what Bill originally wanted to do, but he decided that working with a 12-year old was just not worth it.
