Christian, > I am a relative newcomer to the Internet yet even I (now) know that > sending attachments is considered bad netiquette. Yeah, that is real clear. I guess you are even (now) an expert on the subject. It took me a minute to get a file which was sent back to me. That does not appear to be a big file. If you think it is, you need a new modem or provider. > I would have thought that getting people offside with your organisation, > or perhaps, the organisation you represent in this argument, is counter > productive? I've gained NOTHING by providing the information. I also will not be damaged by making any argument. I thought I was actually providing good information other than the typical "bondage wings", "stuff the long hose", "wet suit and steel tanks", etc., etc. arguments. If some idiot wants to exchange with me in public, my repsonse will be similar if not worse. > Do you know anything about politics? As in the way to respond to people? Take your own advice. Think about sending it private first and I might be nicer depending on your e-mail. Do you know what "SMD" stands for? Go through the past files,my "netiquette" might just be rated average. But, I'm not running for office either. :) To those that were offended by the "attachment" ... sorry, it was well intended. To those that thanked me for the information ... you are quite welcome. To those that are still "pissed off", get a life! There is a lot more crap downloaded on this list (like these e-mails I'm responding to) on a daily basis than the attachement I sent.
