Subject: "We'll Show You" Project Bumbling
Richie, this is bull. All of it. The fact is that none of you ever seems
to know there is any problem with these things until after some trainees
have a problem, and yet this does not stop the persistent effort to sell
them to anyone and everyone as the "solution" ( one of the TRUE
objectives of the "project", the other being to get Jim King and every
other stroke into Wakulla).

We had no idea there was any light problem, but just took another guess
from your last incident report, and again, you rewarded us with a full
explanation of another problem that we had no idea existed.

Forgetting the concept of trying to fit your square peg into cave
diving's round hole, you mention that we do not understand the
objectives of your boy's project. We do quite clearly, and as you
suggest, we are anxious to see him proceed so we can get it over and
done with for good. He will fail miserably, and people will get killed.
I know the turf, Richie, I put FORTY TWO THOUSAND FEET of line in the
place myself. My bet is your mutants can't put in 42 feet anywhere in
the cave or get anything else done other than put up the circus tent and
make a lot of noise .

On the subject of "serious dives", since when does Tom do any serious
dives with anything? Hello, Richie, serious to you is the bathtub and
the rubber duckies. Your toys don't cut it where we use the term
"serious", and netiher do any of the strokes your boy has enlisted.

If you would like a roster and scorecard by me on each of these losers
to counter your argument that we do not "know" them, I can change your
mind very quickly, but have to be at the pool 3 minutes ago, so will get
back to you later.

I am not going to call you a liar, exaggerator, or a pimp, but let me
ask you this: Stone told the Miami Herald he is an aerospace engineer.
Is that lying, or not?

By the way, in the current National Geographic article about the
springs, there are five pages discussing the WKPP, and it is not our
article is is Wes Skile's doing. It is realy going to be tough for your
boy to come back now and lie to that same organization about "exploring"
Wakulla when he will be exploring the parking lot, and as one staff
member put it, "moving in trailers to stack the bodies in".

We are getting ready to ride agin as soon as this guy is out of our way,
and we have the full force of the WKPP past and present enlisted this
time in every aspect of our game. Ther never well be another chance , so
make it good.

Bobbie,

No changes to the code are necessary. Only a single parameter that
determines the ratio of red and green. One number.

Don't forget, there are now 70 MK-5's, of which about 50 or so have been
in
the hands of users for quite some time, and 30 or so have been in the
hands
of users for about a year. Most of these people didn't buy these
machines
to do shallow dives. Besides John Earle and myself, I personally know
of
about a dozen others who ROUTINELY do deep decompression dives with
their
units. One of them just came through Hawaii and dived with us on Sunday
(he
has about 200 hours, most of it deep wreck diving in what I would
categorize
as miserable conditions). Don't make the mistake of assuming that just
because Tom and I are the only ones who regularly post to the lists,
that we
are the only ones who do serious dives with these units.

> Best wishes and I hope you're feeling better.

Thanks. I was feeling fine 15 minutes after I started surface O2 lying
down, and except for the sea-sickness on the ride home, have been fine
ever
since.

Aloha,
Rich
