hello, my name is rudy and i live in holland. i've read the mailing list archive on aquanaut, and read you're an expert on making scooters. i'm making an scooter myself now and hoped you can give me some answers or exchange some idea's a few questions ? i now use a 50 V engine that consumes about 550 W. i can reach a speed with this of about 5 KM/h. (in swimming pool) the battery's can runs this for about 50 min. 58 V ( 8 AH nc ). the scooter weigh's about 30 kg. do you have any idee what the spec are from other comercial scooter. further, i use two (ptfe o ring seals (specs say's should resist 10 bars)) to make the motor waterproof. ive had some leak problem, because the axle off the motor was not perfectly in balance, i have corrected this . so i hope the problem is now over.
