I can only guess that it was because I was right and pointed out to the entire list that he does not have a clue what he is talking about. Then you jump to his defense without any clue who I am or what I'm about. Just one more case of yelling "HEY STUPID" in a crowd and having some dolt jump up and proclaim "HEY YOU CAN'T TALK TO ME LIKE THAT". I find this phenomenon to be quite amusing. You would be well advised to sit down keep your mouth shut and let other wonder if you are thick rather than to open your mouth and remove all doubt! You have come so dismally far from the truth that this post bares NO resemblance to fact. In the past have made my relationship with the dive shop I frequent frightfully clear. Let us just recap by saying it is tenuous much of the time. THE ONLY PLACE I MAKE A PROFIT IN THE DIVE INDUSTRY IS BY CHARGING DIVE SHOPS TO CREATE AND MAINTAIN THEIR WEB SITE!!! I THOUGHT YOU WOULD BE IN FAVOR OF TAKING THEIR MONEY??? I do NOT teach (yet). I do NOT sell product. I do NOT operate a charter service! I do NOT care where you find your information. I credit much of what I know to a few DAMN GOOD instructors, many knowable authors, and directly or in directly to some VERY knowable members of this list, you and Jim not among this group. Any statement to the contrary is, was and will remain a total fabrication. Again, anyone who wishes to confirm that information only needs to look to the archives. END OF STORY!!! Your attempts to discredit me are only serving to do the opposite!! I have been flooded with requests for information regarding topics ranging from decompression and cold water diving to accident analysis and researching of the diving accidents. Every time someone forces me to defend myself more people come to realize that I am right and that you and your friends wouldn't know the truth if bit you in your brightly colored ass!! To infer that Jim is a cave or "gas" diver is the same as kind of disjointed lie as trying to imply that I work at or for a dive shop. Jim lacks the knowledge (see above) and I lack the paycheck! Do you people really think I will sit by and let these lies go unchallenged?? That by itself PROVES that not only do you not know me AT ALL but you also know no one who does! I have made my background clear many times in the past and won't bother to do it again now. Based on you rhetoric I doubt if you would be qualified to carry my gear.
