Billy, we have had a lot of serious requests for "stroke detection" . I actually start the tape with an admonition about this, and then at various key points in the discussion mention the identifying characteristics of strokes. I expect some real howling in repsonse to this tape, and this time there are no punches pulled. If anyone wants to sue me, they will of course have to make a donation to the WKPP in order to get the "evidence". Adherence to Rule Number One is a very serious thing, and it is treated with the "uttermost respect" in this tape. Actaully, we are able to cover some very serious topics with great simplicity. When one is exposed to the logic that I use, one finds the right way automaticly, and it all falls into place - diving becomes fun again, not a stroke contest. What is beging taught by the training agencies is so stupid , convoluted, disjointed, self-serving and criminal ( in my opinion) that this tape offers the only alternative out there to all of the inconsistency and caotic ass-covering that has been going where one stupid idea is used to cover up the last stupid idea. > At 02:30 PM 3/10/1998 -0400, Katherine Irvine wrote: > > >argon > >stages - setup and deployment, carrying, config > >open water > >wreck > >risk management > >planning > >importance of basic skills > >backup lights > >reels , spools > >attachment of clips - difference bewteen "need to lose" and "can't lose" > >rigging up as if to dive > >why we do what we do > >fitness - its importance to deco > >how to deco > >how to mix gases > >what gases to use and why > >weave direction of plate in the critical part , with graphics > >hoses rigging > >regs for and why > >tanks > >manifolds > >lights > >scooters ( briefly mentioned) > >drysuit > >pee vlaves > >wreck lights > >cave lights > >speed and slickness > > Stroke detection. > > rgrds billyw > > --- Freeattic list subscriptions/removals should be sent to > --- kens@ac*.ne* -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
