Well, Bott, so you want to relive the entire argument all over again. OK, 
sure:

When I first talked about creating the trimix site, Bott was the most 
vociferous person against it. I never did understand why this was, I 
figure that he is they type of person who puts more on little cloth 
patches people sew to their jackets rather than actual knowledge.

I have never taken a trimix course, certainly reading books and doing the 
work for collecting the knowledge and putting it in a web site does not 
require paying someone to tell you what you already know. I suppose that 
one day I will have to get the certification so I can dive in places 
where I am not in the "good ol boys" club. No doubt Bott is the HNIC of 
the good 'ol boys club up there wherever it is that he lives.

Bott knows exactly where I live because he published my home address, a 
map of how to get here, my home phone number, my work phone number, the 
names of my boss and the president the company and encouraged them to 
send email to get me fired. My phone rang all night long for 2 weeks and 
I was finally forced to change my phone number.

Heres some of the stuff he did to try to fuck me over:

I personally have no use for a "diver" who does most of his bottom time on
a keyboard..  Yes this is personal between me and Cobb.  And yes you have

right to be mad at him for wasting you time with this on a public list.
This too has no place in this bandwidth.  Other than to say that I did not
post my complaint to the list, Cobb did.  It is up to you to decide if it
was to inform you of some new technical development in diving or to take
the heat off him for being a fraud.

I have to admit that I find a certain irony in the fact the I was
complaining to the cause of the complaint.  I also thank those who tried 
to
offer assistance in finding the host IP.  But you all fell a steep or two
short of the mark.  I do know a little tiny bit about computers and the
Internet though.  What I find interesting is that his hosts seem to be 
well
meaning non-profit allograft Tissue Banking System. Questions or comments
about donation should be directed to: Public Education Coordinator, Becky
Lawson, at becky_lawson@tr*.or* (I think it is a good cause).

As far as the use of the host is concerned I wonder what Bill Anderson,
President & CEO or John St. John, VP for Corporate Services will have to
say about this usage and Mr. Cobb=EDs jeopardizing of there client status
with UU.NET.  However, I do intend to find out.  I know what UU.NET had to
say and lets just say that Mr. Cobb may not be laughing as hard now as he
was yesterday.  Perhaps Mr. Cobb will keep us up to date on UU.NET=EDs and
LifeNet=EDs actions.  

I hope Mr. Cobb does not work for any of these people or companies as he
could be in big trouble if he does.  If you have any thoughts on Mr. 
Cobb=EDs
employment status you might wish to forward them to Mr. Cobb at
<jcobb@tr*.co*>  or Mr. John St. John at <john_stjohn@tr*.co*>.  I=EDm
sure they would like to hear your comments.

to send me anonymous threats.

This is a real swell guy.

What is your motivation, Bott? Why do you have such a hard-on for me and 
the web site? So far it has had over 100,000 hits, I have received dozens 
of complementary emails. I did receive about 5 emails pointing out minor 
errors which I fixed. It still gets 600-700 hits a week.

So, Mr. Highly Trained Trimix Diver, what have YOU done for the sport 
lately? That right, zero, nothing, goose-egg. Nothing but flap your huge 
mouth and tell everybody what a great dive-god you are. 

No, I am not an experienced trimix diver, what I know is laid out on the 
trimix site. I have yet to see yours. Despite your frantic efforts the 
Trimix site has been there a year now and I have yet to see the smallest 
contribution from you or you pack of anonymous buddies.

The irony is this guy preaches hogarth and DIR principles, which I agree 
with. Why I need to have a card to compile public domain knowledge is 
unclear to me and seems to point to some sort of personal thing. What 
really happened, Bott, did I screw your wife or sister in my college 
days? Did I run over your dog? What? What is my crime which lead you to 
such extreams?
