Subject: Re: Incident (question)
Hank, I don't like incuring long deco obligations in the open ocean
because of the cluster that occurs when the current changes, the weather
changes, when there is a problem with an injured or missing diver, when
a there is shipping bearing down, problems with the boat, marine
creatures, algae blooms ( stinging ) etc, etc, etc. It is just not smart
when you can do two shorties and less total deco.

You all asume that the slathering stupidity that is taught by dive
training agencies is anything but crap. The real story is quite
different.

The current lack of knowledge on deco and dive logistics in the
training community is much like the Fellini movie that is going on over
on the rebreather list : there you have complete idiots and long term
losers giving each other advice and buidling upon assumptions and
"information" that is so sutpid as to be criminal - the same ignorance
exists in deco, deco from helium, and dive logistics, despite the fact
that guys like you know I am correct on the problems as seen from the
boat operational side.
