Well Jim, isn't lack of bouyancy control why IANTD recommends 80/20 stroke mix? ;-) Seriously, your strawman argument makes no sense unless you are saying that your hypothetical diver lacks the intelligence to switch back to bottom mix if for some reason his must descend below 20'. In this case then your hypothetical diver is making the right decision to deco on bottom mix. This is completely different from kirvine's valid point that diving a bottom mix that is too hot for the bottom is suicidal. You suggestion that this precludes wall dives is of course a red herring. If your bouyancy causes you to drop to the bottom of the wall, then you are fish food regardless of mix.
