Steve, I know exactly what you mean. I live in San Diego (No mix here except your own...), when I took my trimix course in July up in L.A., one of the recreational "Instroketors" at the shop actually called Trimix "Voodoo Gas". The bozos around here are so far back in time, it's Medieval! So Cal is way, WAY behind the curve... Pity.
