BTW, I believe that U.K. wreck divers have a lot in common with U.S. New York/ New Jersey wreck divers - conditions are similar, and the difficulties posed by the simple fact that the depths tend to make decompression diving a requirement. My impression of BSAC, mainly from the manuals, was that wreck diving, and light deco diving, are pretty much understood as part of diving (though the BSAC tables direly punish repetitive, deep, deco dives - they are largely prohibited.) What sorts of practices would your local diving officer disapprove of - is it going deeper than 50m, or using non BSAC tables, or just the private aspect of the diving?
