1. We admitted that we were strokes, and that our diving had become 
unmanageable.

2. Came to believe that that a power greater than ourselves could restore 
us to depth.

3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of the 
WKPP, as we understood it.

4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of our gear.

5. Admitted to JJ, ourselves, and another human being the exact nature of 
our gear convolutions.

7. Humbly asked JJ to remove these convolutions.

8. Made a list of all newbies we had misinformed, left in caves, or 
watched sink into the depths, and became willing to make amends to them 
all.

involve diving deep on air.

10. Continued to take gear inventory, and when we found convolution, 
promptly eliminated it.

11. Sought to improve our conscious contact with the WKPP, as we 
understood it, looking only for how we can help, and further WKPP's goals.

12. Having had a spiritual awakening as a result of these steps, we 
sought to carry the message to the stroke who still flounders, and to 
practice these principles in all our affairs.
