Couple points: 1) To the usual suspects: I'm blown away by how long it took you guys to find out about this. You need better spies. 2) To Jess: I'm not an instructor. That doesn't mean I have nothing of value to offer in the way of diving techniques for the MK-5. Sort of like the point that being certified doesn't make you qualified, and vice versa. 3) To Jeff: Everyone knows that I only wear pizza-stained *fish* t-shirts, none of which have the words "No Fear" on them. 4) To Frank: I am going to tell them nothing about thermal protection. I am going to tell them nothing about long "bottom" times (although I will tell them about long in-water times). I'm going to tell them nothing about sat diving. I'm going to tell them nothing about cave diving. I am going to tell them nothing about scooter diving. They are all far more qualified than I am on those points. I am only going to tell them about what I happen to be very qualified to tell them, which is how to use the various tools on the Cis-Lunar MK-5 in ways that will allow them to survive an entire platoon of Murphys. Also, you are wrong - I have been to Wakulla. 5) To "the gang": Don't drag me into your silly little hole-in-the-ground politics. I am not your enemy. I keep hearing that your greatest fear is that someone will get hurt or killed. My only involvment in all of this is to help minimize the chance that your fears will be realized. Take care all. I won't likely be checking email for the next couple weeks (after I get back from FL, I'm off on another dive trip to look for new species of fishes).
