dan - i'll bet i can go back 30 years & find articles in "skin Diver" stating the same thing about Padi instructors. I have no doubt we will see many mfg's and dive shops "CLAIMING" they are DIR, as it may help drive sales. We may need to keep a list of who in fact is DIR.
