What a horrible goal. > Do you disagree with that Al? > So what hapens to the person who, while focusing on protecting themsleves, goes to a sub standard instructor ?? Isnt that the mantra chanted over and over in open water classes every where, "before you do XYZ, get trained" ?? You seem to think each and every diver will learn each and every thing there is to know prior to getting training. If this were true why get trained at all? You can dwell on your lesse fair utopia for ever mike, but it isnt going to change what happens here on earth. People go to get instruction and they have little way of discovering what methods are sound before hand. Many of the best ideas are rejected becasue they dont meet "agency standards" When the instruction is less than excellent they may get hurt. And its not necessarily always their fault. al marvelli -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
