In fact, toxicology is the only thing that can absolutely rule this out, or other problems like sudafed (pseudoephedrine, anecdotally cited in a number of O2 toxicity hits). That is why it is routinely done at autopsy. I would very much like to see these Suffolk County ME's various reports, or talk about them to someone who has seen them.
