I've got both HP and LP tanks and the LP's win hands down. Mainly becase they are more negative so you don't need much of a v-weight (if at all). As as far as filling is conserned if you (or your dive shop) has to time to fill/cool/fill/cool/fill you can get a good fill. While with LP you walk in and fill to 3000 and they cool off to 2600 in one swoop. On a dive boat with a compressor you can forget it, you might as well treat HP 100's as 80's and 120's as 100's. HP tanks for some reason rust very easyly and I recommend breaking down your doubles 2 or 3 times a year to inspect/roll/whip to avoid loosing a tank.
