I went from a yoke valve to the DIN valve several years ago because I
understood that there would be a mandatory requirement to utilize DIN
valves for cylinders charged to more than 3000 psi.

I have slept since I made this decision, however, I believe that this
was a requirement in continents other than North America.

I have been using my DIN valve for several years now and have never had
to utilize vise-grip or waterpump pliers to either tighten or lossen the
1st stage from the tank.
