Thought this might be of interest to some, apologies if your not one of
them.

Having spent sometime investigating sources for diving grade Helium and
Oxygen I got the following prices:

In Egypt:

Helium 50 lt. cylinder @ 185 bar 617 USD
Oxygen 50 lt. cylinder @ 150 bar 153 USD

In the UK we pay:

Helium 50 lt. cylinder @ 200 bar 108 USD
Oxygen 50 lt. cylinder @ 200 bar 31 USD

This includes transportation from Alexandra to South Sinai. The
transportation cost may be a significant proportion of the cost, however
South Sinai is where the diving is, so that's the cost as far as I'm
concerned.

I'm awaiting costs from Diver's Lodge In Sharm El Sheikh if anyone's
interested I'll post them when we get them.

I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has any cheaper sources for Egypt
(or the UK for that matter), equally prices for other parts of the globe.

Lastly, if anyone has any contact details for the recompression chamber in
Sharm El Sheikh, I'd be most grateful. They may have helium and oxygen for
Comex 30 treatment table and thus maybe a cheaper source.
