It does all of us a big favour in providing a single access point to some fascinating and useful information about advanced diving. But early on you seem to have picked sides against one of the better sources of real diving information on the internet and, whether you like it or not, the director of the best advanced exploratory diving outfit the world has seen. I enjoyed your little prose foray into the NY legal scene. I even managed to read most of your gratuitous 'advice' piece to Martin Parker (how come he asked YOU?) about which law firm he should hire if he wants to use the legal system of your weird and wacky country to attack George, even though your summary of the British legal system was cockeyed and the threat implied in your piece was cack-handed in the extreme. But I think you should recognise the fact that at least five near death experiences and three actual deaths from the first 120 Inspiration rebreathers does not make for an enviable product launch. Imagine if every 24th Jaguar car almost killed its passengers, or if every 24th BAC airliner gave its passengers a near death thrill and actually took half of them out in the process. Tell me how many deaths you will need to see on the Inspiration before YOU recognise that the concept, design and/or components are flawed? And on another note, even though you have obvious trouble with the presentation, you will find that George's advice, unlike Martin Parker's rebreather, has never killed anyone. best regards, & keep up the good work. billyw -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
