As I live in a small community of course everyone jumped on the 'How could you keep diving' band wagon and of course my daughter had questions of her own....up until that point she had been an unquestiong fan of my diving....so we began discussing diving on a different level....i.e. technique and mental attitudes and why I choose to do this silly thing and how it is much much more than that pile of gear and the lobsters that were coming home for dinner and the artifact s that were treasured......discussions that we owe our loved ones and that we definitely owe our children ...obviously aimed at their mental age, but which can help them to a)comprehend us as adults and b) begin to grapple with their own choices and endeavors which can be as demandng and intense for them....... --part0_902763454_boundary-- -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
