"Following completion of a two hour dive at 300 feet, an exploration party
would face between 15 to 20 hours of decompression, depending on the gas
mixtures and decompression procedures used, before they could surface safely.
This is well beyond the limits of what a diver could tolerate performing in-
water decompression in the 69 degree F temeprature of Wakulla basin, even with
the best available exposure suits."
