Georgie -

I told you. You shouldn't have done it.....It's time to zip up your fly and
listen:

At 08:38 PM 8/2/98 -0400, George Irvine wrote an indefensible tract that
rationalized his poor spelling and bad thinking:
>.....and you are out of touch with the reality of the fact that they are
dying, .
>...It really pisses me off that you use the "authority" of you MD...

me ....
>....I would like to stick in your yapping little mouth along with my foot.
>....the committee regrets that you have failed the course and will need to
send in >three more Chex boxtops to redeem your TDI instructor card...[just
checking]

And, not content with hiding behind the skirts of her e-mail address, he
even dragged his wife into the issue.

At 11:09 AM 8/2/98 -0700, pH wrote to G4

So the thrill has gone? Or more specifically, you are so worried by the
competition that you can't tolerate a rational private discussion about the
merits of fixed pO2 machines without needing to inflame the homophobes who
slather at your heels? [A good illiteration]

Jeez, Georgie, OK, you asked for it:

At 06:57 PM 8/2/98 -0400, Katherine V. Irvine's evil twin wrote:
>Pete - bullshit - you can not hold the ppo2 up on the exposures we do,

The above is total crap, because is doesn't MEAN anything, meathead. there
is NO SUCH THING as "holding the ppO2 up" except as in your TINY [you got
the original]!

Now lissen up:

>the alternating of the vaso contriction/dilation of the switching is far
more improtant >to the deco than trying to hold the ppo2 up. The damage
done to the lungs and the

Another completely BOGUS PIECE. Switching from one pPO2 to another may
result in vasocontriction ONLY if it is also accompanied by a change in
pCO2. Who the heck is your "medical" advisor??????? When was the last time
he TAUGHT a physiology course without the students THROWING UP with LAUGHTER.

Not only are you the smartest ass I've seen in print, but you can KISS mine
in Macy's window and I'll give you an honorary MD - Mad Dufuss

>I can also tell you that keeping the oxygen window WIDER at every ppo2 is far

The idea that you can offgas nitrogen by being able to take on more O2 is
neither new nor unique to cavers. What is truly incredible is that you seem
to think you are immune from the universal gas law. To tell me that with a
couple of gas switches from 300' to 30' you can obtain the same offgassing
advantage as breathing a fixed pO2 mixed on the fly, because you are in
"good shape" is like claiming you wouldn't fart if I put you in a vacuum.
You'd blow your ass wide open, just as you are doin' with your mouth right
now!

>My oxygen window at any ppo2 is incredible and
>is so due to my ability to metabolize oxygen, so I get good deco the

Your oxygen window is not the only part of your anatomy that is "wide
open". Check your ability to think like a human. G-iv, the word god doesn't
come to mind, it's Icarus.

> It is only the ectomophic geeks like Pyle who do not understand this, as
it does >not do them any good.

Go back to London and remember your English, particularly if you are
talking physiology: Pyle is an endomorph - look at his beard. And have the
courtesy to copy him when you insult him. That's Mr Endomorph to you (Like
Mr Clark - who IS that guy? On your team or just another Mr Hyde? Still
fakin' it, eh georgie??;-)

>I have to say it, Pete - I am the big boy in this game,
>and I can use , buy , build underdstand or make any thing [but not spell]
>under the son for diving

Seriously folks - if we are finished the trash hauling here, the bottom
line is that you, George Irvine III, [the artiste sometimes known as
Katherine and always called a Sheila] really believes that you'll outlive
the gas laws because you are in shape???!!!! And I can walk through fire,
too. Show me the MONEY! SHOW ME THE MATH!

Don't sit on your ass in a deco habitat/cavern and whine that you're "too
tired and too scared that someone will kill themselves" or "Stone will
steal it from me!" to GIVE US THE FACTS! You say that you can beat the
bends by staying in shape. And you call advocating diving a fixed pO2
machine DANGEROUS!!!!????

If you're such a buff dude, then Stone can't posssssiibly COPY your act(?)
Can he?

Ya gotta play 'em or lay 'em. We can outwrite AND OUTSPELL you on every
post. Georgie, tell me it's not true that you think God blessed you with a
small body and a big mouth to suck O2 out of a OC and evade the gas laws.
Sh**less Geo, say it ain't so!

Something like that.

PS And don't you punks climb into the ring here, yet. This is G4 v pH
