I guess those of us who (still) use Viking suits, and have gotten used to breathing out our noses to inflate the dryhood, will have some re-training to do when using rebreathers. FYI, I sent a post last year asking if it was practical to use a dryhood with trimix. Dryhoods are inflated with breathing gas, and in theory the helium should increase heat loss through the dryhood. Having done about a dozen cold (40-60F) water dives on mix this year, I have found the answer. Although your head is noticibly colder in a dryhood when breathing gas than when breathing air, it still feels warmer to me than a wethood. John HeimannJ@ma*.nd*.gt*.co*
