Purchased the Halcyon single cylinder adapter and "Bat" wing to go with my hog rig a couple of months ago, so that I could do some plonk dives with the other half. Only just got round to rigging it up and trying it on. No matter how the cylinder height is adjusted, the bottom of the back plate is forced into the small of the back, making it extremely uncomfortable and unusable. Never had this problem with my twin set. I think it is partly to do with the metal channel that is part of the cylinder adapter kit, positioning the cylinder further away from the back than my twin set would be. This extra distance also makes it really difficult to reach the Scubapro H valve arrangement I have invested in. The latter I can live with for the moment.
